Inquiry Based, Multi-Sensory Learning Experiences for Differentiated Instruction
You have been invited to contribute to the Discovery Box blog because you have attended a workshop and/or have expressed interest in connecting with others who are creating Discovery Boxes of their own.
Discovery Boxes were first conceptualized by Okte Elementary School (Shenendehowa Central School District) first grade teacher, JoLynn Williams. Collaborating with Okte's school media specialist, Liz Bailey, the idea was supported with a CRTC grant in 2007. JoLynn and Liz are now sharing the research basis and practical considerations of Discovery Boxes with other educators through presentations and workshops.
This blog will serve as a forum for sharing ideas and resources.
